In-Game Rules
In-Game Rules
Effective date: as shown above. Version: 1.0.
These In-Game Rules ("Rules") govern all conduct within the Forsaken World: Wizard Server game, the cabinet website at https://fw-wizard.com, our Discord server, and any other communication channel operated by Wiz Games LLC (the "Administration", "we", "us"). They are part of and subject to our Terms of Service. By creating an account, logging in, or otherwise using the Service in any way, you irrevocably accept these Rules in full.
If you do not agree to these Rules, do not use the Service.
1. Authority of the Administration
1.1. The Administration has sole and final authority over the interpretation, application, and enforcement of these Rules. All decisions of the Administration are final and binding on the player.
1.2. The Administration may, at its sole discretion, investigate, warn, mute, kick, suspend, ban, delete, or restrict any account or character at any time, with or without prior notice, and with or without an explicit clause covering the conduct in question.
1.3. Conduct that is clearly harmful to the server, the community, the gameplay, or other players, even if not specifically listed in these Rules, may be penalized by the Administration to the same extent as an explicitly enumerated violation.
1.4. The Administration is not obligated to disclose investigative materials, internal logs, the identity of reporters, or the technical reasoning behind any moderation decision.
1.5. The Administration may delegate enforcement authority to Game Masters, Moderators, and other authorized staff. Decisions of authorized staff carry the same authority as those of the Administration.
2. Acceptance and Scope
2.1. By using any part of the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to:
- These In-Game Rules
- The Terms of Service at https://fw-wizard.com/legal/tos
- The Privacy Policy at https://fw-wizard.com/legal/privacy
- The Refund Policy at https://fw-wizard.com/legal/refund
- The Cookie Policy at https://fw-wizard.com/legal/cookie
- The Age Confirmation at https://fw-wizard.com/legal/age
2.2. These Rules apply to all in-game activity, all in-game communication, the cabinet website, the Discord server, the forum (if any), and any platform where you identify yourself as a player of the Service, including streaming platforms and third-party social networks.
2.3. The Administration may amend these Rules at any time, with or without prior notice. Material changes will be reflected by an increase in the version number at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after the new version takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new Rules.
2.4. The English version of these Rules is the canonical version. Translations are provided for convenience only; in case of any conflict, the English text prevails.
3. Eligibility and Account Ownership
3.1. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is greater) to use the Service. See the Age Confirmation.
3.2. You must not be located in, ordinarily resident in, or a national of any country or region subject to comprehensive U.S. economic sanctions. Attempting to circumvent the geo-block by VPN, proxy, or any other means is itself a permanent-ban offense.
3.3. Accounts are not the property of the player. The Service grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the account and any virtual goods on it, subject to these Rules and the Terms of Service. The Administration retains all right, title, and interest in the account, the virtual goods, and any in-game progression.
3.4. You are personally responsible for everything that happens on your account, regardless of who actually performed the action. Compromised accounts, shared accounts, accounts used by family members, accounts left logged in — every act on the account is treated as your own.
3.5. One person, one identity. You may operate multiple characters on one account; you may operate multiple accounts; but every account must belong to a single human being who is identifiable to the Administration on request. Selling, gifting, leasing, "renting", or otherwise transferring an account to another person is a permanent-ban offense for both parties.
3.6. The Administration reserves the right to require identity verification at any time, particularly when investigating suspicious activity, payment disputes, or sanctions screening. Refusal to comply may result in immediate account suspension.
4. Player Conduct
4.1. Chat, voice, and public areas
The following are prohibited in any in-game chat (world, faction, party, guild, whisper, mail), voice channels, the cabinet website, the Discord server, the forum, and any other public-facing area of the Service:
- Profanity, slurs, sexually explicit language, or graphic violence
- Hate speech, harassment, threats, intimidation, or "doxxing" (publishing real-life personal information of any other player or staff member, including but not limited to: full name, home address, employer, school, family, medical, financial, or photo identification)
- Discrimination on the basis of race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, age, or any other protected characteristic
- Sexual content involving minors, in any form, ever — immediate permanent ban and reporting to authorities
- Promotion or glorification of self-harm, terrorism, mass violence, or illegal drugs
- Spam, flooding, copy-paste advertising, repeated identical messages, or any chat behaviour clearly intended to disrupt communication
- Advertising, recruiting for, or linking to any other game server, MMO, or competing service
- Impersonating a Game Master, Moderator, Administrator, or any other authorized staff member, or otherwise leading other players to believe you have official authority
4.2. Naming
The following character, guild, account, and Discord names are prohibited:
- Profanity, slurs, sexual content, or hate speech
- Names that imitate or could be confused with staff names (e.g., "GameMaster", "GM_Admin", "Wizard_Staff")
- Names of real-world public figures, celebrities, political leaders, or trademarks of third parties
- Names that promote drugs, terrorism, or illegal activity
- Names containing personal information of any third party
The Administration may rename, restrict, or delete any account, character, or guild whose name violates this section, without prior notice.
4.3. Conduct toward staff
4.3.1. Disrespect to staff is prohibited in any form, including in private messages. Staff decisions are not subject to public debate inside the game.
4.3.2. Begging, pressuring, or attempting to coerce staff into reversing a decision, granting items, or showing favoritism is prohibited and may result in additional penalties.
4.3.3. Filing knowingly false reports against other players, falsifying evidence, or misleading the Administration during an investigation is treated as the same offense as the conduct being falsely alleged.
5. Fair Play and Anti-Cheat
The Administration takes cheating and exploitation extremely seriously. The penalties in this section are permanent unless the Administration determines, at its sole discretion, that a lesser penalty is appropriate.
5.1. Prohibited software, tools, and techniques
The use, possession, distribution, advertisement, or instruction of any of the following is prohibited and constitutes a permanent-ban offense:
- Bots and automation — any software, script, hardware macro, AI agent, machine-vision tool, or other mechanism that performs in-game actions without continuous human input. This includes, without limitation: combat bots, gathering bots, dungeon bots, AFK-protection bypassers, ChatGPT- or LLM-driven agents, and OCR/vision-based clickers.
- Game-state hacks — fly hacks, speed hacks, teleport hacks, no-clip, wallhack, ESP, packet editing, memory editing, dll injection, replay protocol manipulation, or any other modification of the client or its network traffic.
- Multi-instance tools — sandbox software (Sandboxie, ApplicationX), virtual machines (VMware, VirtualBox), Windows multi-user-session abuse, or any other tool that allows running multiple game clients in a way that bypasses our intended single-client experience.
- Hardware automation — gaming mice, keyboards, or controller firmware/macro programs that send in-game inputs in patterns no human could reasonably perform (continuous fishing, continuous farming, perfect-cycle skill rotations, etc.).
- Reverse-engineered or modified clients — any client binary not officially distributed by the Administration; any patched, "private", or "modified" client; any tool that re-implements the game protocol.
5.2. Bug exploitation
5.2.1. Discovering an unintended behaviour does not, by itself, mean it is a "feature". If a behaviour is clearly unintended (duplication of items, infinite loops of currency, skipping fight requirements, accessing prohibited zones, etc.), it is a bug.
5.2.2. Using a known bug for personal gain — even once — is a permanent-ban offense. Items, currency, levels, equipment, and any other gains derived from a bug will be reverted in full, and the Administration may extend the penalty to all accounts linked to the offender by IP, payment method, hardware identifier, or behaviour pattern.
5.2.3. Reporting bugs to info.fwwizard@gmail.com or via Discord is rewarded, not punished. The Administration encourages responsible disclosure.
5.3. Disconnection and AFK abuse
5.3.1. Intentionally disconnecting to deny a kill, evade PvP loss, abandon a dungeon group, or grief teammates is treated as cheating.
5.3.2. Long AFK in dungeons, instances, queues, or PvP arenas, especially with anti-AFK macros (jiggling mouse, repeating spells, jumping in place, etc.), is prohibited. Auto-detection may apply a penalty without prior warning.
5.3.3. Pretending to be away from keyboard while operating the account through a remote tool is treated identically to running a bot — permanent ban.
6. Trading and Real-Money Trading
6.1. Real-money trading (RMT) is strictly prohibited. You may not buy, sell, exchange, gift in expectation of payment, lease, "rent", auction, or otherwise transfer for any real-world value or for any benefit on a third-party service:
- Game accounts or characters
- In-game currency (gold, silver, leaf, coins, or any other), whether on this server or any other
- Items, equipment, gear, mounts, fashion, materials
- Quest progress, dungeon clears, raid carries paid in real money
- "Powerleveling services" provided in exchange for real money
6.2. Both parties to an RMT transaction — the seller and the buyer — are subject to permanent ban. The Administration may extend the ban to all accounts linked by IP, hardware fingerprint, payment method, e-mail, or any other identifier.
6.3. The cabinet sells virtual coins as a one-way top-up. Coins purchased on the cabinet cannot be sold back, refunded for goods received, or transferred to another account. See the Refund Policy.
6.4. Carry services for in-game gold are allowed between players (e.g., paying gold to be carried through a dungeon). Carry services paid in real money or third-party assets are RMT and prohibited.
6.5. The Administration is not responsible for losses resulting from in-game trades between players. Players who scam other players in-game may be muted or banned, but the Administration is not obligated to recover lost items.
7. Account Security and Multi-Account Policy
7.1. Account security
7.1.1. You are responsible for the secrecy of your password, your e-mail account, and any second-factor (2FA) credentials. The Administration never asks for your password.
7.1.2. If your account is compromised, contact support immediately. Items lost to a compromise are not restored automatically; the Administration may, at its discretion, restore identifiable items if logs make recovery possible.
7.1.3. Sharing account credentials with another person — for any reason, including "trust", "borrowing", "boost", or "passing the account to a friend" — is at your sole risk. Any subsequent loss is not the Administration's responsibility, and any rule violation committed under your account by the third party is treated as your own.
7.2. Multi-account policy
7.2.1. You may operate multiple accounts on the Service, provided each account belongs to you personally and complies with these Rules.
7.2.2. One reward per real person. When the Service distributes rewards based on identity (vote-for-rewards, referral bonuses, event giveaways, first-time-purchase promotions), the Administration reserves the right to issue only one reward per identifiable real-world player, regardless of how many accounts that player operates. Identification is performed on IP address, device fingerprint, payment method, e-mail address, behaviour pattern, or any combination thereof.
7.2.3. Bot farms and account-creation abuse — operating accounts that exist primarily to feed currency, items, or progression to a "main" account is treated as cheating, even when each individual account is technically owned by you. All accounts in the chain are subject to permanent ban.
7.2.4. Ban evasion — registering a new account after a previous account on the Service has been banned, in order to circumvent the ban, is itself a permanent-ban offense. The Administration may extend the original penalty to the new account, the e-mail, the payment method, and any IP or device used to register or play.
8. Penalty System
The Administration applies penalties in tiers. The Administration may skip tiers and apply any penalty it considers appropriate to the conduct, with no requirement to issue warnings or progressively escalate.
Tier 1 — Warning
A direct staff message to the player. No game-side restrictions. Used for first minor violations or boundary cases.
Tier 2 — Chat mute
Suspension of in-game chat for a defined period, typically one hour to thirty days. The character can still play; only public communication is restricted.
Tier 3 — Account suspension
Temporary block on logging in, typically one day to ninety days. Suspended accounts retain all items and progression but cannot be used for the duration.
Tier 4 — Permanent account ban
Permanent block on logging in. The account, all characters, all items, all currency, all friend lists, all guild memberships, and all unspent virtual coins are forfeit. No refund, no recovery, no transfer to another account.
Tier 5 — Extended ban
In addition to the account ban, the Administration may, at its sole discretion, ban:
- All accounts associated with the same IP address, IP range, ASN, VPN provider, hardware fingerprint, or device
- The e-mail address used to register the account
- The payment method (credit card, PayPal account, bank account) used on the account
- Discord and forum accounts linked to the player
8.1. Permanent ban offenses
The following typically result in a Tier 4 or Tier 5 penalty on the first offense, without warning:
- Cheating (any prohibited software, tools, or techniques)
- Bug exploitation for personal gain
- Real-money trading
- Distribution of malware, phishing, or scam links
- Sexual content involving minors
- Doxxing other players or staff
- Death threats, threats of physical violence, or terror threats
- Repeated impersonation of staff
- Account theft or unauthorized access to another player's account
- Ban evasion
8.2. Property of banned accounts
8.2.1. Banned accounts and all their contents — including unspent virtual coins, characters, items, in-game currency, friend lists, guild membership, and any cosmetic unlocks — are forfeit. The Administration is under no obligation to refund, transfer, or otherwise recover this content.
8.2.2. The Refund Policy expressly excludes refund obligations for accounts banned for breach of these Rules.
8.2.3. The Administration may, at its sole discretion, freeze and seize in-game property linked to an investigation, including property held by alts, mules, or recipients of stolen items.
9. Appeals
9.1. A banned player may submit one appeal by e-mail to info.fwwizard@gmail.com, within fourteen (14) calendar days of the ban. Appeals submitted later may be rejected at the Administration's discretion without review.
9.2. The appeal must include:
- Account login or numeric account ID
- Date and approximate time of the ban
- The player's account of the events
- Any evidence the player believes is exculpatory (screenshots, video, witnesses)
9.3. The Administration will render a decision within fourteen (14) calendar days of receiving the appeal. The decision is final. No further appeal is permitted.
9.4. Appeals against permanent bans for cheating, RMT, account theft, or sexual-content offenses are reviewed only when the player presents new and material evidence. Appeals that simply assert "I didn't do it" without evidence will be rejected.
9.5. Frivolous, abusive, or repeat appeals — including appealing the same ban multiple times under different account logins, or filing appeals while continuing to evade the original ban — may result in additional penalties, including permanent ban of any new accounts the player creates.
9.6. Sending an appeal does not pause or shorten the ban. The ban remains in effect until the Administration explicitly lifts it.
10. Communication Channels
10.1. Official channels for player–Administration communication:
- Discord —
https://discord.gg/BtXQ4rtHwN— fastest response; tickets and direct messages with staff - E-mail —
info.fwwizard@gmail.com— formal channel; appeals, payment disputes, security incidents - Cabinet support — https://fw-wizard.com — for account-specific tickets where login is required
10.2. Any communication received outside of these channels and claiming to be from the Administration — including in-game whispers from a "GM" demanding your password, Discord direct messages from accounts impersonating staff, or third-party websites claiming to "unlock" your account — is fraudulent. Report it immediately and do not engage.
10.3. The Administration is not obligated to respond to communication that is abusive, off-topic, anonymous, or sent through unofficial channels.
11. Modifications to These Rules
11.1. The Administration may amend these Rules at any time. Material changes will be reflected by an incremented version number at the top of this page and an announcement on Discord and in-cabinet.
11.2. Continued use of the Service after a new version takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new Rules. If you do not agree to the new Rules, your only remedy is to stop using the Service.
11.3. The Administration is not obligated to retroactively re-investigate past penalties under a new version of the Rules.
12. Final Provisions
12.1. These Rules are binding upon every player, regardless of how the player came to use the Service.
12.2. If any provision of these Rules is found unenforceable in a particular jurisdiction, the remainder of the Rules remain in full effect.
12.3. The governing law and venue for any dispute under these Rules is set out in section 11 of the Terms of Service: the laws of North Carolina, United States.
12.4. Ignorance of these Rules is not a defense. It is the player's responsibility to read, understand, and comply with the Rules in their current version.
